The Intel Core i7-12700k entered the UK market in mid 2020 as a top end unlocked i7 gaming processor and is based on the "Alder Lake" 14nm manufacturing process. It is a 12 core, 20 thread CPU and runs at 3.8GHz at base although this one is overclocked to run at 4.8GHz which it does comfortably with the massive Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 Air cooler. The i7-12700K has a 25Mb Cashe.

The RTX 3090 was launched in late 2020 and was introduced as a high-end option capable of running 4k graphics at over 100 frames per second in almost any game. The RTX3000 series of cards are absolute beasts (perhaps with exception to the slightly under-powered RTX 3050), and the RTX 3090 out performs its predecessor, the RTX 2080ti by around 50% in terms of speed & performance (the RTX 2080ti had been the most powerful gaming graphics card ever built before the release of the 3000 series in 2020).

This makes the RTX 3090 is a truly exceptional gaming graphics card for all PC enthusiasts running any modern title in 4k and should be great for many years to come.
